How to make my company also a positive force in the community was easy. Everyone has the capacity to create change with whatever limited resources they have. The only thing to do is make the decision to do so, to put your expertise at work.
IMC Consult did so by rewarding a modest request from a dear friend and visual artist Arie van Geest: "Could you please help me out to run my website ?".
Another assistance and support was taken up two years earlier. In Brussels, meeting with Pierre Andès from Lille, we decided to start a fanzine; a magazine dedicated to the life and work of the French cartoonist Yves Chaland. IMC Consult not only provides financial support to this fanzine titled: Le Journal des Amis de Freddy, but also contributes to its content ever since.
That way, one simple act, such as giving a friend some help, is no longer merely an encouragement to the person receiving the assistence, but a potential catalyst to create a more empowering culture. Many companies give to their communities during the holidays, but IMC Consult does so throughout the year. Doing so not only creates major impact, it yields many rewards, also for yourself.
